Q295NHE Corten Steel is a low-alloy high-strength weathering structural steel complying with GB/T 4171 national standard, positioned between ordinary carbon steel and stainless steel. Trace copper, chromium, nickel, phosphorus alloy elements are added into base carbon steel. After long-term outdoor exposure, a compact stable rust layer will form on the surface to block deep erosion of substrate, its atmospheric corrosion resistance is 2–8 times higher than common carbon steel, coating service life reaches 1.5–10 times of ordinary steel. It owns balanced strength, plasticity, weldability and fatigue resistance, available in hot rolled plate, coil and special processed laser cut decorative panels, suitable for uncoated bare outdoor service and artistic modeling projects.
