What is coated steel sheet?
Coated steel sheet, also known as pre-coated steel sheet, is a composite material made from hot-dip galvanized sheet, hot-dip aluminized zinc sheet or electro-galvanized sheet as the base material. After undergoing surface chemical pretreatment, it is coated with one or more layers of organic coatings and then baked and solidified. It combines the strength of steel plates with the decorative and corrosion-resistant properties of organic coatings, and is widely used in building roofs, exterior wall panels, appliance shells, automotive components and other fields.
Our production process
In Yuxin, every roll of coated color steel undergoes a strict production procedure: high-quality base material unwinding → chemical pretreatment → precise coating (primer + topcoat + backcoat) → high-temperature baking and curing → cooling → winding and packaging. We use internationally renowned brand coatings and coating equipment to ensure strong coating adhesion, long-lasting color, and excellent weather resistance.
Product Core Characteristics
Through the aforementioned process, our coated steel sheet possesses three core characteristics: Firstly, it offers a wide range of colors, including solid colors, metallic colors, and pearlescent colors, which can meet various design requirements; Secondly, it provides dual protection. The galvanized layer of the base material and the organic coating on the surface form a barrier, and its resistance to salt spray, acid and alkali, and ultraviolet rays far exceeds that of ordinary steel sheets; Thirdly, it has excellent processing performance. The coating and the base material expand simultaneously, and it can withstand complex forming processes such as stamping, bending, and deep drawing without cracking or peeling.
