Marine Steel Plate, also known as shipbuilding steel plate, is a special structural steel developed exclusively for marine projects in accordance with IACS unified requirements and major classification society rules. A/B/D/E are ordinary-strength ship plates with minimum yield 235MPa; AH/DH/EH36 are high-strength grades with 355MPa yield, used for heavy-load hull main structures to save steel weight. The letter A/D/E stands for impact test temperature 0℃/-20℃/-40℃ respectively.
