What is AH32 Marine Steel Plate?

AH32 is a high-strength shipbuilding structural steel grade conforming to GB/T 712-2011 and equivalent to ASTM A131/A131M Grade AH32.

"A" = impact toughness tested at 0°C

"H" = High tensile strength

32" = minimum yield strength of 315 MPa

Compared to general strength steel (such as A36), AH32 offers higher impact energy absorption and excellent corrosion resistance, making it the preferred material for large vessel construction and harsh marine environments.
