SA203GrD steel plate belongs to ultra-low temperature container plate, SA203 is A low nickel alloy steel, including A, B, D, E, F five grades. The nominal nickel content of D, E and F is 3.5%, commonly known as 3.5Ni steel. SA203D/E/F has good impact toughness and mechanical properties under low temperature conditions, and is usually used in low temperature environments of -70 ~ -101℃ (the tempered state can reach -107℃).

The chemical composition of SA203-GR.D steel plate includes carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, nickel, copper, chromium and molybdenum. Specifically, it contains no more than 0.23% carbon, between 0.13% and 0.45% silicon, no more than 0.88% manganese, no more than 0.025% phosphorus, no more than 0.025% sulfur, between 3.18% and 3.82% nickel, about 1% copper, about 1% chromium, and about 0.2% molybdenum.
