With the development of bridges and the advancement of steel structure technology, steel structures are increasingly used in long-span bridges. U ribs are widely used in the construction of bridges, highway bridges, etc. Almost all steel box girders are reinforced with U ribs, which account for about 10% of the total weight of the steel structure of the whole bridge. The cold-formed U-rib products are continuously rolled and shaped, with high production efficiency, low processing cost, high dimensional accuracy and high comprehensive income.
Low weight per square meter. When providing equivalent product performance, the amount of steel used is low, saving material costs. Under the same project, the number of steel sheet piles is reduced, thereby speeding up the piling speed of construction and saving manpower and equipment costs. Uniform thickness. Traditional hot-rolled steel sheet piles usually have uneven thickness, and only show the thickness of the thick part, and the thickness of the locking part is thin, which is easy to be damaged during piling. The thickness of the cold-formed steel sheet pile is uniform, stable during piling, and can be recycled for many times. U-ribbed piles are generally shipped as single piles, without pairing. In some designs, U-rib piles can also be shipped as box-type steel sheet piles. Good water-stop performance, strong durability, high construction efficiency, less land occupation and other unique features, the application fields almost run through the entire basic industry. The latches on both sides can be used to interlock adjacent sheet piles. Interlocking sheet piles form a watertight structure for engineering applications such as cofferdams and deep foundation pits.
