FH32 is a high-strength shipbuilding steel grade under the rules of major classification societies (ABS, DNV, LR, CCS, BV, KR, NK, RINA). The "F" stands for low temperature resistance (-60°C), "H" for High tensile strength (yield strength ≥315 MPa), and "32" for minimum yield strength in Ksi.

Yes. We can supply FH32 with Z-direction (Through-thickness) properties such as FH32Z25 and FH32Z35, which are critical for nodes of offshore platforms to prevent lamellar tearing.

02.What is the difference between FH32 and FH36?

The number indicates the yield strength. FH32 has a minimum yield strength of 315 MPa, while FH36 is 355 MPa. For extremely low temperatures (-60°C), both perform well, but FH36 is heavier duty. We supply both.

03.Do you offer cutting services?
